Join Me in the Garden
Hi I'm Lucy, Let me introduce myself and Saddleback Farm....
For many, the epitome of freedom is the ability to live and work remotely, roaming the world or country in a van or bus, laptop in tow. It’s a dream that captivates the imagination of so many. But for me, this never held the same allure. My dream, deeply rooted since my earliest memories, was to own a piece of paradise – a place where I could spread out, surrounded by the animals I love, and nurture a garden of my own. Growing up in working-class Australia, this dream felt as distant as the stars. It was a vision so removed from my reality that I couldn’t even visualize how it could come to fruition. I toyed with the idea of communal living, attracted by the shared spaces and collective lifestyle. Yet, this too didn’t quite resonate with what my heart yearned for.
